my setup was the Om systems om-1 camera with their 90mm macro lens I used the Telesin smoke machine for the effect with a Godox flash that was mounted on my camera.
Description
Smoke and Seeds Created indoors on a rainy day, this image began as a simple experiment with a dandelion seed head, smoke, and light. I directed smoke through the dandelion's delicate structure, letting it curl and drift around the seeds before capturing the moment with a flash. To create the cool blue atmosphere, I placed a blue plastic bag over the flash, transforming an everyday household item into a simple coloured light modifier. The combination of drifting smoke, fragile seeds and deep shadows created something far more mysterious than I had expected. For me, the finished photograph is less about documenting a dandelion and more about transforming something familiar into something dreamlike, a small piece of nature given a darker, almost otherworldly fine-art character. Camera settings: ISO 200 • f/9 • 1/100 sec • Flash power 1/64 single shot.
