I had been watching a group of Roe Deer in a number of meadows and noticed that they sometimes crossed this field of Oil-seed rape using the tramlines created by the farm vehicles. So with one one footpath crossing the edge of the field it was a question of picking a tramline and then waiting for the deer. Well after a few unsuccessful attempts, eventually I picked the right tramline and saw these two deer. Then a stroke of luck as a passing car caused the deer to stop and look left. So this was the image that I hoped for.
