I saw these black and white liquorice allsorts in a local shop and my mind kept whirring with ideas about how to use them for one of my miniature photography creations. After trying several set ups, I decided that the way to go would be to keep it monochromatic and simple. Playing with the idea of camouflage, this particular image was inspired by a safari trip to Namibia: via a letterbox-shaped viewing position in a concealed hide, I had photographed zebras at a watering hole, their reflections mirrored beneath their feet. Taken at 1/40sec, f/16, ISO 1000 and -0.3 step exposure compensation
