Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world’s leading emergency medical humanitarian aid organisation.
We provide emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. We work in over 60 countries and go to places where others cannot or choose not to go.
“I was in a totally isolated place with zero services, fighting going on, and MSF the only organisation there. I was one of two doctors for the whole surrounding region. It was really the bread-and-butter of what MSF does best – just a few people working in a forgotten place that badly needs help. You could tell that we were really making a difference.” Simon Collins, doctor, Congo.
