Description
The bride was never the subject here. Her mum was. She'd been sobbing at the first look earlier and was still barely holding it together on the way down, and that's the frame I was waiting on. I'd been watching the huge windows on this landing all morning and I know the 23mm flares in a way I can use rather than fight, so I put myself where the light would come through them and exposed for the two faces instead of protecting the window. The staircase gives me the layering for free, with the bridesmaids stacking back up behind them and the whole procession sitting in one frame.
