Description
On a summers day I was snorkelling through forests of sargassum at Newtons cove, a non native species that has taken over in areas and competing for space with the native Kelp. In this area there seemed to still be a healthy balance. I felt the colours were like a painting with their soft yellow hues and came across a snail covered in pink coraline algae which popped against the yellows. I used a long exposure to soften the background and a snoot and flash on the snail to capture the colour and the detail.
