Self Portrait

Canon EOS R5 EF85mm f1.8 USM
A study in contrast... both emotional and technical. Self examines the paradox of holding immense physical power while feeling completely unraveled by anxiety. The raw nakedness strips away defensive layers, leaving the tattoos and defined musculature to represent an outer armor that cannot protect against internal anguish. Technically, the image utilizes aggressive, hard-contrast black and white to heighten the drama and isolate form. To communicate self-doubt and mental chaos, I stacked multiple exposures of the frame, applying selective motion blurs and heavy grain across the layers. This process breaks the hard lines of the body, blurring the boundary between physical presence and psychological fracture.
