Self Portrait

I learned cello as a child from the age of 6 to 18. I loved music and the feeling of getting lost in the sound of this beautiful instrument. I stopped though and the forgot much of the joy until recently when my youngest daughter started playing and I had a chance to play again and reawaken that incredible feeling and the love of music. When you're a musician (especially a cellist) the vibrations and sound literally go through your body when you play and you physically feel the music. It's quite special. This is what I tried to recreate with tithe long exposure self portrait.
