I hiked with my friends to find the man-made cave at Hodge Close in the Lakes, a striking water-filled quarry hidden away behind a rocky scramble. Once we found it, the view opened up into an otherworldly cavern, its entrance marked by old metal tracks. Perched right on them here is Zep, one of the dogs in our group, and as the fur-kid of a dog trainer, it’s no surprise he modelled for my Scarf Project portrait like a total pro. And I’m not just saying that to blow smoke up his fluffy butt. He sat perfectly still while we made multiple attempts to fly the scarf around him. It landed on his face, flapped around at his side and generally did everything a scarf is not supposed to do, yet Zep just gazed wistfully into the distance, completely unbothered by the whole thing. Honestly, what a pro. 🥹 Settings: 1/200s f/11 ISO 80
