Description
This juvenile Green Cat Snake (Boiga cyanea) adopts a defensive threat display, coiling its body and opening its mouth when confronted. Photographed in my home studio while still showing its striking orange juvenile colouration, the snake had yet to undergo its ontogenic colour change to the green of adulthood.
