Description
With this image, I wanted to strip away as many distractions as possible and let the shapes and textures of the food take centre stage. At some point, I got into this way of thinking that only by creating a very complicated setup with lots of elements can I take a truly 'remarkable' photo - so stripping it back went against my usual way of doing things . I tried to lean into the contrast between the soft, even light and the bold colour of the dish.
