Description
A thrown ball hangs for a fraction of a second between a figure and a wall divided into alternating bands of light and shadow. I composed the image around the repeated diagonals, allowing the ball and the gesture of the figure to interrupt the rigid pattern. What began as an ordinary moment of play became a study of rhythm, movement and anticipation. 24mm, f6.3, ISO100, 1/1250s
