When I first saw this view of Shark Bay from a light plane, it immediately brought to mind a CT scan image. The white sands appear like the vertebrae of a spinal column, and the water running into the dark sand below like the blood vessels in the spinal chord. Shark Bay is stunning viewed from above and I was very fortunate to be able to witness it.
