An underwater exploration of identity, reflection and perception. I placed an acrylic mirror beneath my model, allowing her image to fragment into multiple reflections, while the water’s surface created a second layer of distortion through refraction. Rather than capturing a conventional likeness, I wanted to create a portrait in which a single person appears as multiple versions of herself. The constantly moving water meant that no two reflections were ever quite the same, creating an image that existed only for a fleeting moment.
