Description
I try to use my life experience to come up with concepts for projects when I can - in this case I used my memories of going to a school dance as a shy pre teen. The styling, make up and hair were purposefully 80's themed, however I endeavoured to use a style of lighting that didn't make the concept look dated. When shooting fashion I stick to a smaller aperture so everything is sharp - I believe that showing the details of the fashion is equally as important as ensuring the model is in focus.
