Description
A spectator raises their phone to capture the spectacle of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, creating a photograph within a photograph. By focusing on the phone and the scene being recorded, the image explores the way we experience and preserve moments today, not simply through our own eyes, but increasingly through a screen. The colourful balloons beyond provide an unmistakable backdrop, while the phone offers a second, carefully framed interpretation of the same fleeting moment.
