Description
I have flown drones since 2014. I moved to London after falling in love with the city following a big life shakeup in 2025. In SF, I used to fly a lot, but I'd never flow in London. I moved to this apartment in October 2025, and on a cold Sunday evening, decided to see if I could get it safely in and out of my small window. Of course the plan was, if successful, to photograph the city lights from above, all the usual drone stuff, but when I got it out I decided to take this one photo looking back at me, in my apartment, on the controller. Instantly I fell in love with this image. It's me, in my new life, with my old gear, with a new story - London, city life, personal, an angle you'd never normally be able to capture. I've taken 1000s of drone photos and videos and this is one of my most unique and fun captures! I hope you like it :)
