When the snows fall, Snowdonia is transformed into a winter wonderland and winter mountaineers take to the summits. I usually steady hike turns into dangerous terrain and knee deep drifts, a place only the experienced should venture. The reward is a vast white landscape with views that stretch miles and simply are hard to put into words.
