Description
While observing a large herd of Cape buffalo in Naboisho Conservancy, I concentrated on the yellow-billed oxpeckers moving amongst the animals. Rather than photograph the whole herd, I singled out one bird perched on a buffalo and composed the image around the sweep of the horn, using its curve to lead the eye back towards the oxpecker. The tighter composition keeps the bird as the main subject while still showing its relationship with its much larger host.
