Description
Gala Fairydean Rovers is a Scottish professional football club that play their games at the Netherdale Stadium. The main stand, which was constructed in the 1960s is both a unique and iconic example of modern brutalist sporting infrastructure. Designed by Peter Womersley, using modernist geometry and materials, the utilitarian design is a Category A listed building of outstanding national significance. The soft tones and warmth of Kodak Portra film stock worked perfectly to capture the main stand's architectural charm.
